Pediatric Radiology Fellowship
- The CHOP-Addis Ababa University Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program at Black Lion Hospital provides educational resources and expertise through a two-year fellowship with the goal of promoting regional self-sustainability. The fellowship began in 2015 and has supported the training of four fellows, two of whom have become faculty members. Learn more about the fellows here (link to “pediatric radiology fellows” page)
National Pediatric Radiology CME
- Since 2011, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Radiological Society of Ethiopia (RSE) have organized an annual day-long national continuing medical education (CME) course in pediatric radiology. This course entails lectures presented by visiting and local professors. The CME course takes place on a Saturday, allowing more than some 200 radiologists and trainees from around the country to attend. Course participants do not pay a registration fee and thus all costs for the event are covered by the organizers (CHOP and the Radiological Society of Ethiopia). You can view the agenda and list of past visiting faculty here (PDF of last conference program and pictures from past conferences in folder).
